When the wilderness sang

They ran, pranced, and played.

Ate, hunted, and hungered

This lush green haven was their own

But as the years passed

The emerald wooded homes

slowly departed and gave way to a concrete jungle

These creatures stared cautiously

Inching forward in a guarded manner

Towards the unshaded, ashen road

Until one of them had ventured too far

“HONK”
